Natural Park of Maremma

The Maremma Natural Park was the first park of the Tuscany Region. It is one of the most interesting destinations of the Grosseto province. Inside are found some most beautiful and undamaged areas of the Maremma coast.

In the Park are actually the remaining marshlands near the mouth of the Ombrone river, which, rich with life and still wild, is home to many important bird colonies.

There are also numerous archeological sites in the park, some Etruscan-Roman, others coming from the medieval period, such as the watch towers.

The Argentario

Albinia is a center of recent construction located on via Aurelia, near the mouth of the Albegna River. From here you can easily reach the vast pine forests of the Terrenian beaches and suggestive centers of the Maremma inlands.

Albinia is on the Costa d'Argento, and in the immediate area it is possible to visit villages such as Saturnia, famous for its Spas, the Cape of Monte Argentario, Talamone and Capalbio with its historic remains.

With just a bit of travel, we encounter other pearls such as Magliano in Tuscany or Pitigliano.
